It's been raining on and off all day long. As a family we are driving each other up the wall. DH ran away downstairs to read, little girl won't rest and is over tired, big girl snarly and yelling at her and this momma annoyed the lightening is keeping her from walking outside.
But right now I may have found 15 min of quiet time. 11 min left.
I made my shake this morning with vanilla and 1/2 cup of the frozen fruit. It was very good. I find myself using more and more water to stretch it out. I am not a fan of thick shakes, I like it through a straw so the more water to thin it and not lose the taste is key for me. I think that I have the ratio down pretty good. For lunch I had a Flatout wrap. I get them in packs of 3 at Costco and they freeze really well. I cut one in 1/2 and use 1/2 slice of cheese, 2 slices of turkey on each wrap, lettuce, tomato(if I have it) a dab of mayo & mustard to hold it together and there ya go. Two really decent wraps, add apple and carrots and you have a 300 calorie lunch. And that was what I had today and I am going to make stuff shells for dinner. Only one shake today cause I wanted to eat but I still was careful and planned that 1 meal pretty decently.
If the lightening lets up I will go for a walk, it just may be a short one. Otherwise I am going to have to buck up and use the treadmill.
Dinner was sooooo good! I splurged and skipped a shake and went for chewing food. It was just large pasta shells with the beef & sauce mixture stuffed in them, cheese over and baked. And I ended up walking for a hour on my treadmill which felt great.
