Oh so good....day 29

Tomorrow will be my 30th full day using ISA. I am so impressed with myself. I know I have stated that before but I really am. This was not a cheap program at all. But I used the tools that I have and I believe that I am on the right path for a healthy forever lifestyle.

I do need to buckle down and order more stuff for my next 30 days. I also need to do a cleanse this weekend since I only did one during the whole 30 days. Which I think is ok. I can cleanse for 2 days and start another 30 on Monday.

My lunch yesterday I was pretty impressed with. The little snack lettuce wraps with ham were good. The whole lunch with the Graze snack included was 388 calories and filling. It was so filling that with all of the water I took in I wasn't hungry till after my 30 min cardio workout. Now don't laugh but after I got my youngest to bed, that is a struggle everydamnnight, I decided to use the Wii and our Just Dance game. I set the timer on the microwave for 30 min and started to dance. I did jog in place when I was between songs so I could keep moving and keep my heart rate up. My FitBit has it listed as 35 active minuets and 2496 calories burned. MFP turned it to 588 calories burned. Now I think that is pretty high but who knows. I had a yogurt before I went to bed so I wasn't starving-I skipped my dinner shake which was bad but I just didn't have time for it.

That leads me to how much I love the easy and flexibility to this plan. It works with you. Sure it takes time but it's just part of my life now. And planning. It does take planning. But when I am too busy to plan or just don't get up early enough, the shakes are quick and easy to whip up and keep me satisfied. Or if I know that I have plans that involve a meal I don't have 100% control over...I know that I can have those two shakes during the day and plan about 800 calories to indulge in.

And that leads into the working out. In order for you to be healthy you must be active. I sit at a desk most of the day. Very little walking going on although I do try to get up and walk and take the long way around. Normally in cases like last night I would think...it's after 8, I am hot, tired...about 7 different reasons to talk myself out of changing into my clothes. Too late to shower is my favorite one. I don't like going to bed with a wet head. Yep, I tell myself that one a lot. So I talk myself out of a workout but stay up way to late anyhow. Things have shifted a different direction since I have been using ISA. I actually look forward to and plan when and what workout I am going to be doing. Last night it was Just Dance cause I needed to move my body, I needed a 30 min time limit cause it was late and I needed it to be enjoyable. And when it was over it was a bit disappointing. I had really enjoyed using it as a work out.

But these are things I am learning about myself and getting healthy as I go though this.
